Mr. Mike Roehr, LPC
is a psychotherapist who specializes in providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. He received a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Mike also has experience in career counseling, which is focused on helping adults and older adolescents navigate their individual journey related to learning and work/career. This includes career assessment and exploration, career decision making, managing career changes, lifelong career development, and dealing with other career related issues through support in making complex decisions and facing difficult situations.

Mike has a multitude of experience aiding adults, adolescents, and children with behavioral and emotional challenges. He also has experience treating children and adolescents with Autism and other developmental disorders.

Mike utilizes a combination of therapeutic techniques that meet the unique needs of every individual he treats. These include Person-Centered, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational and Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), as well as Mindfulness and Relaxation Techniques.

Mike’s specialties include (but not limited to) working with children, adolescents, and adults with Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, developmental disorders, Autism Spectrum disorder, and other life challenges and transitions. He also has experience working with children and adolescents who are facing academic underachievement, learning disabilities, and Social/Emotional challenges, such as family conflict, peer relationships, self-esteem, self-harm, and teen violence. Mike has also provided psychotherapy for individuals with LGBTQ concerns and substance abuse.
